At the occasion of the 4th International Conference “Strategies on Tissue Engineering”, organized by WITE, the Würzburg Initiative on Tissue Engineering, ATERA’s CEO Bart De Wever will give a keynote lecture on June 11 at 16.30h on the use of tissue engineered 3D models as alternatives to animal testing. More than 40 internationally well-known scientists as keynote speakers will share their knowledge and foster a lively discussion among all participants.
The scientific program takes into account the most recent developments and trends of the field. Examples are biomaterials sessions focusing on biofabrication and tissue printing as well as the design of immunomodulatory materials, the growing importance of cell reprogramming for regenerative medicine, new tools for non-invasive monitoring, 3D in vitro tissue models, or regenerative strategies in old age and multimorbidity. Also, clinical trials using Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs) within the current regulatory framework as well as the marketing authorization process will be covered.
